Product details

10-year Limited Warranty. Read about the terms in the Limited Warranty brochure.

The cold-start function prevents hot water waste and saves energy. When you lift the lever straight up, only cold water is released. The function restricts opening the lever fully to the right.

Hot water is released by turning the lever to the left. It is only then that hot water is consumed.

This is a durable faucet that you can use for many years, since the hard, ceramic discs withstand the friction that always occurs when you change the temperature of the water.

Chrome-plated brass is a hard and durable surface that is easy to clean.

An aerator integrated in the faucet keeps the water flow just right while less water and energy is used.

Strainer included.

Water and energy saving aerator (1.2 gal/min.) for high-pressure systems included.

Connection hoses with 9/16" connection included. Length: 13¾".

A tool is included that makes it easy to install the faucet in place.

Flow rate: 1.2 gal./min. (4.5 l/min.)

Great faucet at a greatMELISSAGreat faucet at a great price.5
Great faucet with a flawPatrickDon’t get me wrong, this is a really nice faucet. It’s beautiful, it works very well, has a very solid build and feel. However, it has one major flaw that doesn’t make any sense. The hottest setting is at 9 o’clock and the coldest setting is at about 4:30. Doesn’t make any sense to me.3
Great price and value forallanGreat price and value for money compared to other similar faucets5
Nice lookHildieI bought this to update my restroom . I love the look! Would def buy again!5
Elegant design, smooth simple operationLudMikeBought & installed 3 months ago. Easy install with standard US valves & supply lines. Unique operation saves hot water. Elegant design compliments our 1960 mid century modern home5
Looks great not practical for most installations.JeffbatDoes not fit standard sinks with 3 holes and water lines are to short to reach supply. If like most other faucets they supplied a cover for the holes I would been able to make it work.1
Looks nice-Functions miserably.GoCatsMaybe it's the energy-saving feature of using only cold water at startup and then having to go through gyrations to get any hot water, however after less than 50 on/off sequences, the faucet LEAKS INTERNALLY. I thought I'd have to call in Seal Team 6 to find it! The unit was installed professionally so all was up to top standard. It is in a summer home so you can imagine the water mess and possible damage to flooring that awaited. Sad. Won't be buying any more IKEA plumbing stuff for sure.1
LOVE IT!msrhaei love the minimalist design!5
Great compact faucet66218Love this little faucet. Works just fine and I like style of the included drain. It's chrome, so does show water spots, especially since the water in my area is quite hard. This would happen with any chrome faucet. I keep a microfiber cloth handy to polish it up. Looks good as new.5
Aerator flawsAnthony GThe good: No leaks, modern design The bad: poor aerator design, too short, only one finish This faucet worked for me for a few months until it came time to clean the aerator. Not only was it difficult to uninstall (had to use a wrench, and difficult to grip the cap without scratching), but it proved impossible to re-install. No matter how I put the aerator back in, once I tightened the cap water would shoot in all different directions. I tried for over an hour, and eventually just left the aerator off. This led to an uncontrolled flow of water that combined with the short length of the neck caused water to splash all over and outside of the sink. Even prior to the aerator problem the short length proved problematic, and it was difficult to wash more than one hand at once. Strange because the display in the store had this faucet/sink combo. I eventually returned this faucet, and bought a Delta faucet with longer spout and better aerator design (for almost twice the price). If it wasn't for the aerator problem this product would get 3-4 stars, and would be a good value for the price.1
What I expectedMauiguy12345Great product with great style4
Great faucet, but not great for a side faucet sinklin9777We bought the Ensen for the Lillangen sink. Due to the side placement of the faucet, it didn't extend far enough into the basin. You had to wash one hand at a time! I'm sure it would be fine with other sinks. Great simple, sleek design. But we ended up returning it and the Brogrund faucet worked better for the sink we had.3
Good value but a bit shortBeauGusWorks well and looks good but my spouse would prefer the spout 1-2 inches longer to empty over the drain not on the inner bowl4
Cannot recommendTampatriciaI bought this a year ago but did not install it until two weeks ago. The chrome finish is discolored in several places and I am not able to make it look clean. Am disappointed as it looks like cheap junk.1
Looks greatPat SheepThis faucet has a nice contemporary design. However, it has an irritating drip after it is shut off.3
6543I bought this a few months ago, and I hate it! The finish is cheap and constantly has prints and water marks. Every time I look at it, I want to replace the faucet.1
Major flawjambiThis faucet may have a defect with the bolts underneath or maybe we are missing a piece, but it has never stayed in place since it was (professionally) installed. The bolts loosen after a week of use and the whole faucet turns to the side. Maybe it has to do with the ikea sink it's attached too? I don't really know, but it's been a major let down in my newly renovated bathroom.1
Nice looking/built faucet, but hoses too shortsoldearlyThis is a really nice looking bathroom vanity faucet, well constructed and priced aggressively for the US market. However there is a fatal flaw I found when I tried to install it. The provided supply lines or hoses are too short for most US plumbing applications in a bathroom vanity. There is no information on this in the instructions as far as changing the hoses to get more than 14 inches of reach underneath the countertop. The store was of no help whatsoever, and modern home centers here in the US do not sell compatible supply hoses or lines with a metric male fitting at the faucet end. Ikea's Customer Service took 30 minutes of my time but came up with nothing. I have been on able to locate supply hoses with a metric male fitting at the end.2
hopethishelpsfaucet is durable & works fine except that I wasn't aware until after installation that Ikea's energy saving cold water turned on design meant the handle turns only slightly to right for cold water & a full 90 degrees to left for hot water. so in the winter, if you want to leave the handle at warm water in the off mode, the handle will be turned to the left, the asymmetry doesn't look good. also, the chrome finish shows a lot of water stains compared to my other brand (Delta, Moen) faucets. had i known, would've not purchased.4
Nice look & feel, with one gotchabonne_mamanOur plumbers installed the ENSEN faucet with a chrome plate to cover the unused pre-drilled holes on our countertop. All was well until we discovered the handle barely rotated to the cold (right) side, but rotated a full 90 degrees to the hot (left) side. We troubleshooted for half an hour with our plumbers, re-read the instructions, thinking it was a defect and would need to be returned. We searched for a solution online, eventually finding a description with diagrams of the cold start feature that explains it is intentional, though unconventional. So, all is well, apparently. http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AE/img/bed_bath_kids/Cold_start_ftagA5_folded.pdf5

Water-conscious commitment in bathrooms

Every time you brush your teeth or wash your hands, you can help save water. A small aerator in every one of our bathroom faucets reduces water flow while maintaining pressure.

ENSEN Bath faucet with strainer, chrome plated

Water-conscious commitment in bathrooms

Every time you brush your teeth, wash your hands, shave or take a bath, you can help with something essential – saving water. That’s why all our taps have an aerator that saves water and energy while keeping the water stream just right. But that’s just a small part of a bigger effort: conserving more clean water than we use.

Antony Smith, an engineer from England, remembers when he joined IKEA and the small team that develops our taps and showers. "I realized we practice what we preach about sustainability," Antony says. "It's a refreshing experience, but it makes our job really difficult because we genuinely have to deliver on sustainability with each product."

Water is precious, but often taken for granted

So, why conserving water? Because no organism on earth can survive without it, and no new water is created. It's constantly recycled, but our freshwater supply is overused and not evenly distributed. It’s impacted by pollution, contamination and climate change, too. "Those of us who live where you can just turn on your tap may not think about saving water; it's taken for granted," Antony says.

Thinking about water at every step

Behind the scenes, we constantly explore new ways to improve water efficiency. That includes providing factory workers and their families with fresh drinking water, ensuring all factory water is cleaned before release, reducing water usage in textile production and using rainwater to flush toilets in stores. And now we are working on new taps using sensors and spray technology – and new water-efficient showers – to save even more. Every water-saving action adds up.

Material

What is brass?

Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc and the amounts vary depending on the desired properties. Copper is usually the main material and the more zinc you add results in the brass being harder and stronger, but also results in it being more difficult to shape and less resistant to rust. Brass can be recycled as brass but never into its original metals. At IKEA we use brass for things like knobs, handles, frames and taps.
